From Thann Binh, the Vietnamese Restaurant on Chalk Farm Road.
Bon Tom Xao Sa is cold fresh noodles and salad, with the fiery smokiness of hot stir fried king prawns with onion, chilli and garlic. To top it off you spoon over cold fish sauce.
The contrast between the temperatures and flavours is incredible.
Thann Binh is also the place in Camden for Pho’ (traditional vietnamese noodle soup), which is just as good as anything you can get on the famous strip of Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road.
